Xavier Coca Verdaguer

A specialist in Liability and Insurance. An expert in personal injury claims, Traffic Law, Health Law, Medical Liability and the Financial Liability of Public Administrations. Holder of a Law Degree (University of Barcelona UB, 1997). Holder of a Postgraduate Degree in Administrative Law (UB, 1998 and 2001). He holds a Masters specialising in Liability from the Bar Association of Barcelona (CAMPUS, 2004). A specialist in Forensic Medicine and Injury Biomechanics in traffic accidents (UPC, 2005). A specialist in the Jurisdiction of Minors (ICAB, 2006). A member of the Spanish Bar Association Specialising in Liability and Insurance, the Justice and Opinion Association, the Bar Association for Victims of Liability (ADEVI) and the Pan-European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (Peopil). He is the current President of the Department of Traffic Law of ICAB´s Culture Committee, and has held the position since 2014. He served as vice-president during the period 2008-2011, and he complements his professional activity with teaching and research work at the ICAB and the different associations and institutions that he collaborates with. He is currently participating as a representative of the General Council of Spanish Lawyers (CGAE) in the Analysis Group for the Study of the Reform of the Legal System for the Evaluation of Damage and Personal Injury caused by Traffic accidents.
